Dining Table & Six Chairs

Beautiful table from my grandmother!  I love the curved edges and the unique legs that match those on the chairs.  There are five chairs as pictured and one chair with arms.  This can store flat pretty easily, but I imagine that the chairs will be a pain to store...

Table dimensions: 62 long x 42 wide x 30 tall with 12" leaf.
Chair dimensions: 18.5 across x 20 deep x 37 tall

Library/Pub Table

I love this table and Max is already picturing it in our future home office.  I refinished the top a few years ago.   The "drawleaf" table has these two nifty leaves that slide out from underneath on the sides to extend the top.  I can't get a picture of it because it's buried, so I found an image of a similar table online (ours has simpler legs and is square instead of rectangular).

Dimensions 30.5" tall x 36" (3 feet) square
(extends to 5 feet)

Keyhole Desk

They don't make 'em like this anymore!  Solid wood with lots of drawers, it's intended for writing (hey, I still do that occasionally...) but it's also a great size for a laptop.

Dimensions: 42 long x 19.5 deep x 30 tall

Oak Armoire

I dig this piece though I'm not sure what I'd use it for in the house.  I once nannied for a family that used an antique armoire in their giant bathroom for drawer space and as a linen closet--that was pretty cool.   This came from my grandmother's (my dad's mom); I'm not sure quite how old it is, but it's at least 50 years old.  This thing is SOLID so could probably survive in a garage if no one has love for it inside.

Dimensions: 41 long x 19 deep x 64 tall.

Oak side table

Neat little side table, maybe once a wash stand.  I actually can't remember which grandparent's house this came from!  I think I can find a place for this at the condo...

Dimensions: 30 long x 17 deep x 28.5 tall.

Glider

It's in great shape, and it can be difficult to find these in a wood finish.  The upholstery is in good condition, though I'd want to recover it eventually.  When there's babies around, you can't have too many of these!  There can be one in the baby's room and another in the living room-- or at a grandparent's house. (Trust me, I've nannied wee munchkins and often wished that there were more rocking-friendly seating available...)

Dimensions: 22 wide x 27 deep x 38 tall)

Maple bedside table

Technically, I think it's a telephone table, but I think it makes a cute little side table-- and it's nice quality, too!  I'm sure to refinish it a darker stain some day even though the finish now is in good condition.

Approx dimensions: 15 x 12 x 30

Chinese Ginger Jar Lamp & Silk Shade

Lampshade not shown here...  The lamp was appraised at $150 in Atlanta!

Tall vintage/antique floor lamps

Here are two fabulous vintage/antique enameled reading lamps that would add character and sophistication to any space.   I'll try to take a picture of 'em in storage, but for now I'll try to just describe each one.

Lamp #1 is a cranberry/burgundy "carriage" style lamp with a textured white glass globe underneath the metal shade.  Metal and painted details are bronze/gold.

Lamp #2 is a pale spring green with a delicate white leaf motif painted around the shade rim and the base.  I re-wired this all by myself a few years ago (and, yes, it's safe!).

Corner Table

Mom said that even if we sell the bedroom furniture, she wants to be sure to keep the corner table 'cause they're so hard to find.  So I've removed the photo and the measurements from the furniture page. Here they are:

- corner table (35" square, less angle x 30.5" tall) with drawer
